No. Our courses are built for clinicians, not data scientists. We explain AI in clinical language you already understand. Beginner paths require zero programming or maths background.

AMZ MedAI Academy certificates are recognised by: Kenya Medical Practitioners & Dentists Council (KMPDC) for CPD points; the American Medical Association (AMA) for CME credits; the General Medical Council (UK) as listed CPD; and aligned with WHO health workforce learning standards. Top-ranked learners additionally receive a distinction certificate co-signed by our academic board partners at University of Nairobi and Aga Khan University.

After completing at least one full learning path, you can form or join a research team of up to 6 members. Teams access anonymised clinical datasets from partner hospitals, use our collaborative workspace tools, and receive mentorship from faculty at University of Nairobi, Aga Khan University, or Kenyatta University. Completed research can be submitted for peer review and potential publication in indexed medical AI journals.

Points are earned by completing modules (+100 pts), passing with distinction (+250 pts), submitting accepted research projects (+500 pts), publishing papers (+1,000 pts), and contributing to peer learning (+50 pts per contribution). The top 3 learners each month receive a personal commendation letter from the academic board and a distinction badge added to their certificate. Top researchers are also featured in our partner hospital newsletters.
